Garrett thinks blogs are ridiculous, but I have been wanting to do one for a long time and now that we have a baby I have an excuse! Hayden is three months old now. I can't believe it has gone by so fast. He smiles all the time now and does something new and amazing everyday. He brings so much joy. I never knew how much love you have for a child until I had my own and it is a wonderful feeling.
We have had a few bumps along the way...first a liver calcification, then hip dysplasia, then reflux, but God is good and we keep getting good reports at the doctor. He is healthy and happy and we don't take that for granted. He is in the 97th percentile on his height (I don't know where he gets that from :) ) and is growing like a weed!
He decided to laugh out loud for the first time at 4 a.m. this morning. Precious, but I probably would have enjoyed it more at 8!
Taking him to daycare when I went back to work was not a fun experience for me, but it is much better now. I actually stopped by the daycare today after a meeting to visit and he didn't even wake up when I talked to him. I guess he's not too traumatized! He seems to really like it there and they all love him.
