100 Year Flood

It has been quite eventful around here the last couple of days. It has rained almost 8 inches marking a 100 year flood. The mayor has declared Lubbock to be in a state of emergency. All of the schools including Tech were cancelled today. Here are some pics from right outside my office.

We also had a situation this morning with a suicidal man holding his wife hostage in their home. The SWAT team has two blocks blocked off.

On a good note, Hayden's daycare was cancelled today and the bathrooms in my office building aren't working so I got to stay home with him!
