11 Months Old!

Well, my sweet little boy is 11 months old today! The countdown is on to his first birthday.

He is at such a fun stage and I am always amazed at what comes next. I already posted about our latest accomplishment, no bottle and no baby food. He walks all along the furniture and while holding on to one of our fingers and he will walk from one thing to the next as long as he can reach it. He stands by himself, but no official walking yet. He crawls super fast and would rather do that because he can get there faster.

He said "dog" last week and when you ask him where his dog is he looks for Lady. We were in Target looking at vacuum cleaners the other day and there was a picture of a dog on one of the boxes and he said dog. Silly boy.

He has four teeth, two on bottom and the two side incisors on the top. The two top center ones will soon follow because I can feel and see them. I thought it was weird that the two on the side came in before the two in the middle, but my brief research told me this: "The order of appearance is an average only. It's worth remembering that babies do vary. Unlike body growth, the appearance of your baby's first teeth is not influenced by how well he eats or how healthy he is - teeth appear when they are ready." So it's all good.

He only takes one early afternoon nap and he has been going to bed earlier. He sleeps about 12 hours at night.

He is drinking less formula and eating more food. We will soon start the switch to regular milk.

He goes to the doctor on the 25th for a follow up. He is doing really well as long as he gets his breathing treatments and takes his medicine.
