This and That

*Update*
Talked to Dr. Patil earlier and she was also surprised at Hayden's results. She hadn't seen them when I talked to the nurse on Friday. She wants to retest him in a few months after he's been here longer. She said because he has only been here a short time, whatever he is allergic to must not be reflected in the blood test yet. So, we just keep doing what we're doing for now.*

There was nothing alarming on the results of Hayden's allergy testing. I was happy to hear this, yet I was hoping I would get some answers as to what is making him sick.

Asthma, however, has not been ruled out yet. His pediatrician wants to see him this month and then again for his one year well check. She wants to see how he responds to the Pulmocort and if he has any more episodes. He will also have a follow-up ultrasound on his liver calcification then.

We worked on the house all weekend and it still looks like a train wreck, but it is coming together slowly but surely.

I can see all four of Hayden's top teeth and feel a couple of them. I'm sure he's not enjoying that. He likes to climb on things now including the wall if he could. He pushes stuff up next to his bed or the couch and climbs right on up there. He also climbs stairs. He is 100 percent boy, that child. I think he also ate some unidentified objects off the floor this weekend...bugs, leaves perhaps. No telling.

My dog Lady got to come home yesterday! She has been staying at my brothers' house. Hayden LOVES her! I'm not so sure the feeling is mutual though. He chases her around and around thinking he's going to catch her, but she's smarter than that! He was really too little to mess with her before, but she's in trouble now!
