Hudson is still not feeling great, but he's not any worse so I guess that's good. He was so hoarse he could hardly even cry and it was absolutely the saddest. thing. ever. It is not fair for such a little guy to be sick. :( He had to miss Hayden's birthday party, but he got to stay home and snuggle with Granna .
Just a few things to report since last time:
- He weighed 11 lbs. 11 oz. at the doctor last Thursday and that was after he had thrown up several times. Big boy!
- He has smiled a few times in response to my voice, but I practically have to stand on my head.
- He likes to be covered with a blanket all the time and if it falls off he is not happy!
- He finds white noise comforting such as me making the sshh sound, the vacuum cleaner, the dryer and the blow dryer. I need a CD with these things to play on a loop. He will calm down and fall asleep almost every time I hold him and sshh.
- He is like a puppy and wants to be right up under your chin when you hold him and will try to scoot his way up there.
- He is still a good eater and I'm pretty sure I feel like a 24 hour all-you-can-eat buffet only nobody comes by to make sure I'm full. :)
Life is good.

ReplyDeleteHAHAHA--the buffet comment is priceless! =) Addison is the total opposite of Hudson--she doesnt want to be covered unless she's asleep in her basinet. She kicks covers off of her..what can I say..she's our child! hahaha =)
