10 Months Old

My little lovebug is now 10 months old! 

(It was technically three days ago, but who's counting)

 This photo is from a couple of weeks ago, but I love it! It was right before we went and got his first haircut!

Here's what you're up to:

Growth:

• You weighed 22.4 lbs. the week of Christmas.
•  Clothes: 18 months, everything else is the same.
•  You have EIGHT teeth. Crazy.

On the Menu:

• You mostly eat fresh fruits and vegetables. I don't puree them anymore, but cut them up in chunks and you feed yourself like a champ. Your favorite is avocado. You also tried chicken for the first time the other day.
•  You have learned to drink well from a straw.
•  You eat three meals a day and snack and nurse in between.

Sleep:

• Mostly the same. You go to bed at 8, but have been waking up at 6 and then sleeping until 9.
• You take two naps a day, anywhere from 1-3 hours.

What's happenin'?

• You're not quite walking yet, but you've taken several steps.
• You got your first haircut. It was time for the baby mullet to go.
• You say mama, dada, night night (nah nah) and bubba (uh-ba).
• You wave bye-bye all the time.
• You love to dance to music or me singing.
• You sign for all done and more.
•  If I tell you no, you crawl as fast as you can to get away. You also stole a cracker from Hayden the other day and took off. It was hilarious!
• You are quite the little lovebug and I just love it!

Favorite things:

• Eating and this is at the top of the list for a reason. You pick anything and everything up off the floor and this drives me crazy.
• Keys
• Bath time is still a fave.
• Your new giraffe ball toy. You love to put the balls in it and watch them go around. You also like you're new cookie jar toy and the kitchen.
• The dog. You love Lady and I have a video to prove it.

Not so favorite things:

• Shoes and socks. You take them off faster than I can get them on.
• The usual - car seat and diaper change.
• Teething. You screech and wail and are just not your happy, mellow self.

I'm sure I'm forgetting something that I'll have to come back and add later. I know I need to start planning a very special birthday party, but I'm trying to pretend that it is still a long time from now.
