the story of us: Weekend Review

We had a pretty low key weekend. I actually caught up on sessions which hasn't happened in a while. I will enjoy it for a couple of days before I have have a birth and newborn shoot. I'm super excited about those!

One of our neighbors was giving away a bunch of toys so we went over there on Friday and Hayden picked out some treasures. He found the goggles in the photos below and wore them until I made him take them off to go to bed. He also got some action figures and dinosaurs. He didn't really have any and he loved playing with them! It was fun watching his imagination while he played. I might need to get him some for Christmas.

Scuba Steve

On Saturday, Hayden and I met my friend Jamie and a couple other girls from church to go swimming. It is a huge spring fed pool and there was a great shallow area for kids. Just Hayden and I went and it was great to have one-on-one time with him because we never get to do that. We had a picnic in the shade and enjoyed the freezing cold spring water to get a break from the heat.
