It seems as though the posts are getting fewer and farther between.
There is no less excitement going on around here, just less time to
write about it.
We went to Sea World last month and
hopefully I'll post some pictures soon. Hudson is 19 months old and
ornery as ever. I'm doing a women's development program at church that
meets three times a week, one of those being at 6 a.m. on Tuesday
mornings. Yikes! So far it really hasn't been bad and I haven't been
late even when an armadillo tried to attack me in the front yard at 4:45
a.m. The photography business is growing and I have been really busy
and will be until December. So, needless to say just not a lot of time
for blogging.
I will summarize the best I can.
Hayden
- Hayden still loves monster trucks and knows all their names and takes them wherever he goes.
- He will sing and dance all day long at home, but is very shy around other people.
- They are working on letter/number recognition and writing at school.
- He is very protective of Hudson if he thinks someone else is being mean to him, but yet they fight at home. He just doesn't want anybody else messing with him.
- He loves to go places and is easy to take now...right about the time that Hudson is becoming more difficult to take places. It's a vicious cycle.
- We just bought him a size 11 shoe! Yikes.
Hudson
- Adds a new word to his vocabulary almost every day. He says "thanks" every time you give him something and "okay" when you ask him to do something. He also says "es mam" (yes ma'am) and "es sir". Oh, and every time we get in the car he says "buckle".
- The kid loves bugs. I think I need to get him a bug farm for Christmas.
- He does not look or act like a baby anymore and most people think he is 2.
- It is safe to say that he is fully potty trained even at nap and night, barring a few accidents every now and then.
- I'm convinced that terrible two's really start at about 18 months.
- He is doing well at Kid's Day Out, but he really wants to be in one of the older classrooms. He tries to wander over there several times a day. He loves the director, Miss Holly, and always finds his way to her lap.
Lots more to share, but I need sleep.
