Harley Paige - Two Months Old

This little sweetheart is two months old. 

She is the sweetest, happiest little thing and we all just love her. 

Stats:

12 lbs. 3 oz.

24 inches

You're a BIG healthy girl and you definitely got the tall gene. 

Size:

- You wear 3-6 months and some 6 months for the length.

- We had to move up to size 2 diapers because you have such a long torso.

 

Eating:

You eat about every three hours and are not spitting up as much.

I love that face!

Sleeping:

Wait for it...YOU SLEEP THROUGH THE NIGHT! You started sleeping through the night almost two weeks ago. I can't believe it. I was afraid to actually say it, but I think its safe now. You sleep from about 10:30 until 6 or 7 and then go back to sleep until about 9. You still sleep a lot during the day too so we don't really have a nap schedule.

Milestones:

- You love to play on your playmat and look at yourself in the mirror. 

- You hold onto things now including my hair. 

- You started "talking" and smiling all the time. 

- You scoot all over the floor when you're on your tummy.

Things You Love:

- You LOVE listening to the rain on the noise machine or the app on my phone. If you are restless, all I have to do is turn that on and you are o-u-t. God bless the rain. For real.

- You enjoy going outside and watching your brothers. Your head just goes back and forth watching their every move. 

- You like to suck your thumb. The boys never did this, but you are a fan. You don't do it all the time, but when you do find it you are one happy girl. Not sure what to think about this yet. Ha!

Your brothers adore you and are always looking out for you. Hayden always rubs your head and Hudson pats you. 

It is true what they say, that it is easier to transition from 2-3 kids than it is from 1-2. Now, I wouldn't go as far to say that three kids ages 4 and under is necessarily the definition of easy, but adding one more to the mix didn't slow us down much. We're used to the chaos by now. I have ventured out with all three of you by myself and we survived with no major catastrophes.

I know I am not alone in thinking that it all goes way too fast. I think back to the day you were born and hope those memories never fade. I learned a lot about myself that day and found strength I wasn't sure I had. You have already taught me so much. 

Perhaps that is why I haven't hardly put you down in two months. I sure do love you Harley Paige!
