This week has been interesting and reminded me that I need to write some of these things down.
Hudson drew on the carpet and a rug in the playroom with black marker. They discovered an empty can of paint in Harley's room that their daddy left in there and managed to not only get it open, but to scrape enough paint out to paint the window sill among other things in the room. The TV stand has a little extra Crayola character now. Poop found its way to places other than the toilet. Have I mentioned I'm glad it's Friday? I think I'm taking the weekend off.
Now, one might think that I just let them do whatever, but that is not the case. They manage to perform these covert operations in record time.
Conversations this week:
Hayden: When am I going to have two sisters?
Me: Well, you're probably just going to have one sister because I don't think I'm having anymore babies.
Hayden: How do babies get in your tummy?
Me: God puts them there. (logical, right?)
Hayden: So can I just ask God to put another sister in there?
Oh dear.
Hayden always says "well actually..." and then proceeds to tell me what he thinks.
"Mom I can't eat anymore or my belly is going to pop. You know, like a balloon."
He shoved a piece of turkey up his nose the other day and I seriously had to dig it out with a pair of tweezers (I can't make this stuff up). So last night he kept saying that his nose hurt and when I asked why he says "well I shoved a booger up there, but it's okay because it wasn't turkey. It was just a booger."
Really?
I'm sure there's more, but I'm going to leave you with that. Happy Friday!
