The Things They Say

Hayden and Hudson say the funniest things these days. Even when they are in trouble, I can't help but laugh sometimes.

Here's some of the things that Hudson says frequently:

- "Not yet."
I'll ask him if he's tired, hungry, etc and this is often his reply. Well, you just let me know when you're ready buddy.
- "Why can't I?" I am proud that he uses proper grammar. Ha!
- "Geez"
- "Are you kidding me" or "you've got to be kidding me". He learned this from his older brother.
- "Not anymore" as in "I took a nap so I'm not tired anymore."
- "Don't want to". Enough said.
- "Doing?" He asks this about 900 times a day and it sounds more like dooh-ing with his Texas twang.
- "I'm not hungry. I already had breakfast." It cracks me up when he says complete sentences in the correct context. He talks like such a little man.
- "Hush your mouth". He might have heard me say this and he likes to repeat it to Hayden.
- "Hayden eat your bites." Same as above.
- "I already did it." He is sure to let me know if he already did something I asked.
- "Hayden, you're going to be in big, big, big, big, big trouble".
- "Mom, I love your hair." He usually tells me things like this when he's trying to avoid going to bed.

I took the picture below of an activity Hayden did at school. I'm not sure when he turned six and I have no idea what Skateboard Wally is. Crazy kid.

How old are you? 6 (He always says that he turned 5 so he can go to kindergarten so I guess he just added another year. He knows he is 4.)
What do you like to do at school? Play with monster trucks.
What is your favorite toy? Tractors
What is your favorite store? Target (Ha!)
What is your favorite restaurant? A hot dog place. (Pretty sure he's never eaten at a hot dog place so I have no idea where that came from.)
What do you like to do with Mommy? Go to Target and buy monster trucks and backpacks.
What do you like to do with Daddy? Go to Wal-Mart and buy bikes. (He only has one bike that he got two years ago.)
Do you ever get in trouble? Yes
What did you do? Hit
What is your favorite song? "This is Not Where I Belong" and "Oh My Soul". (I have videos to prove it)
What is your favorite movie? Skateboard Wally (say what? Is that even a movie?)
Where do you live? Austin
What scares you? Nothing. The dark doesn't scare me. (I think he might have fibbed on this one.)
What do you wish to be one day? Bull rider. I like bucking bulls.
What makes you special? Because I'm nice.
