Harley - Five Months Old

I think you get cuter by the day. You are becoming quite the silly little thing and happiness just pours out of you.

Size:
- You are still wearing 6-9 month clothes and 9 month pajamas. You're really tall, but not very big around.
- Still in a size 2 diaper.
- I know you're a girl, but you are not near as big as your brothers were.

Sleeping:
Your sleep schedule hasn't really changed much, but your naps are a little shorter. I continue to be amazed at how well you sleep.

Eating:
- I just started feeding you some solids. I really wanted to wait until you were at least six months, but mommy is completely worn out and breastfeeding takes its toll on me too. I had a "come to Jesus" and decided it was time. You did not mind one bit and ate like you knew exactly what you were doing the first time I fed you avocado. Every baby is different and you were ready. You've also had brown rice cereal.
- You still nurse 4-5 times a day.

Milestones:
- You sit up by yourself for a few minutes and getting stronger.
- You have become quite busy and interested in your toys. We might need to get you something besides dinosaurs and monster trucks to play with. :)
- You are always reaching and grabbing for anything you can get your hands on.
- You scoot all over the floor and inchworm crawl. I'm really not ready for you to crawl yet so take your time!
- You stopped sucking your thumb as much and only do it right before you fall asleep.
- You have the sweetest little laugh and started squishing up your nose when you smile. I love that gummy grin.

Things you love:
- Sophie the giraffe.
- Eating your toes.
- Chewing on anything and everything.
- Playing in the excersuacer.
- Looking at the TV or the iPad.
- Taking a bath.
- Eating is quickly become a favorite thing.

I sure do love you sweet girl and you are so much fun!
