Nature Walk

We took a little nature walk last night and the boys searched for things to put in their buckets. It was fun for a while and then they were bored before we made it all the way around the block.

Bored. Such a simple word. But I think if I hear it one more time I might poke my eyeballs out with a fork. For real. I am not some genius supermom that can make a schedule of all of the neat, fun, exciting activities we will do for the week on my personalized color coded planner including arts and crafts, horseback riding lessons, poetry, homemade play-doh, tae-kwon-do or playdates. I do my best to keep them bathed and fed and alive. That counts for something right? I was just proud to find this nifty checklist on Pinterest. Maybe they learned something.

This guy lives in our front yard and changes colors depending on where he is. We have lots of creatures that always come around and the boys love it!
