You can't tell in the photo below because it was 45 degrees and she was not excited about it, but she is so happy and energetic and full of life. I always love how God shows us his infinite grace through our children. Not a day goes by that I don't laugh, even if it is sometimes through tears.
She is definitely no longer a baby and this is the first time in my life that I have had a toddler and not be pregnant or breastfeeding. It is bittersweet, yet also liberating. I still look at these three little people living in my house, becoming more and more independent as the days go by, and find myself amazed that they are mine.
At 21 months, she is 36 inches tall and weighs 28 pounds. At 18 months, I believe she weighed 24 or 25 pounds. We might have skipped that appointment (third kid syndrome). She looks much older than she is, but she is healthy and girlfriend doesn't miss a meal. :)
Her favorite things are still coloring/drawing, her brothers, shoes, babies, animals, legos, playdoh and books. She has started speaking in sentences such as "I don't know" and "where'd it go?" She loves preschool and her teacher says she is the boss. Ha! She is also very loving and social always giving hugs, waving, saying hi and her favorite - giving "knucks". We can thank her brothers for that.
I love this picture because it is real life. All of their unique personalities and quirks. Harley adores Hayden. Oh, how I love them. So very much.
