Beach Video

Like I mentioned, I didn't even get my camera out the first few days of vacation for several reasons:
a) too much trouble b) I was wrangling three wild hooligans c) the wind was insane d) I am still cleaning sand out of the camera and lenses. BUT I am so glad I finally did even if the results were not perfect because of said reasons above.

Here is a little video recap. I think my favorite part is when Harley rolls over in the sand and kicks her feet up. That was not posed at all. She loved playing in the sand! And this concludes our beach trip. I promise I will write about something else soon!

Beach Vacation - Part II

My aunt and uncle built an AMAZING house right on the water in Rockport and they were there the same week we were. We stayed at the rental house they have in town, but we hung out out with them at their new house during the day for several days. My other aunt and uncle also came down for the week so it was a lot of fun! Garrett and Hayden fished off the pier. We swam in the pool and hot tub overlooking the ocean. We went to the beach just about every day. Family, great food, great wine, awesome view. Life was good!

My boys were thrilled to spend time with their cousins and were so very sad to leave. It broke my heart a little bit. They often tell me that they wish we lived closer to family.

 There were hermit crabs everywhere this night. Aunt Dorley helped them dig a big "moat" and then they raced the hermit crabs. You can imagine their excitement!

Beach Vacation - Part I

We went to Rockport last month and while it was a bit stressful at times with three kids, we had such a great time and I will always cherish the memories we made. I really wanted to do something fun before Hayden starts school and this was just perfect. I knew the boys would like the beach, but I was surprised at how much Harley absolutely loved it! She was so cute filling her sand buckets.

We stayed in Rockport and also went to Port Aransas one day and to Corpus Christi on the last day to the Texas State Aquarium. I didn't even get my camera out the first few days we were there because I was just soaking it all in, but I still somehow managed to end up with hundreds of photos.
