They each have two teachers and I also made one for the director, so in all I made five little gifts for $9.88. I just bought five bags of cookie mix, printed and cut tags that say "with you as my teacher", "i'll be one smart cookie" and tied them on with ribbon. It can't possibly get any easier than that. You can also put cookies in a container and do the same thing.
I borrowed an idea from a friend of mine and also gave them letters letting them know that we are glad the boys have them as teachers and we will be praying for them throughout the year as they give themselves to our kids and the others in their classes. I included a little questionnaire for them to fill out with their favorite things so I can surprise them throughout the year.
Kind gestures can go a long way and I think it is important to make them feel special whether they teach your children for a few hours a week or every single day.
