Doctor Visit

Hayden had his nine month well check on Tuesday and it went very well. He weighed 22.6 lbs. and he is 30 inches tall! His weight gain has slowed down since he is so active, but he is still growing tall like a weed. It seems like I am always buying him new pants because they get too short.

She said he is doing all the things he needs to be doing and didn't have any concerns. She does want me to start giving him more table food and work toward being off baby food and the bottle by his first birthday, so we've been experimenting. He is down to three bottles a day. He had green beans and cheese tonight and he loves cheese! He drank his formula from a cup tonight too so hopefully that is a good sign. He usually just wants to drink juice from his cup.

His four top teeth are coming in at the same time. I'm sure he's miserable.

He has been taking Zyrtec for about two months now. The cedar count is ridiculously high this week and he's been feeling it. She wants to allergy test him after he's a year old, but she's just going to do a blood test, not the one where they have to poke you a bunch of times.

I can't believe that he will be having his one-year well check in just three short months. Time flies when you're having fun!
