Hayden and I flew to Lubbock on Friday night for Dashia's graduation. It was an interesting flight to say the least. The plane was completely full and now if you're traveling with children under five you don't get to pre-board. You board between groups A and B (unless you're in group A, but I bought my ticket Friday morning so that didn't happen) which is fine, but we ended up in the middle and nobody wanted to sit by a precious, yet very squirmy toddler. Gotta love being that person on the plane that nobody wants to sit by. I came prepared with a bag of animal crackers, but when he had eaten 3/4 of the bag I decided to put them up. Well, he wanted no part of that and proceeded to throw a huge fit. What's a girl to do? I just smiled and pretended like I had everything under control. It was a good thing we only had about 10 minutes left.
We stayed with my friend Michelle who is also my old boss and stayed up until 3 a.m. after I put Hayden to bed. We talked and caught up on the last five months. Might I add that I can't even remember the last time I stayed up that late. 7 a.m. came real early! I miss her and my old job dearly.
Michelle's two little boys and H played for a little while before we went to Dashia's graduation at 9. We played with all of the other babies walking around the mezzanine and then clapped for her when she went across the stage. He slept for the last 30 minutes and gave me a break! We are so proud of you Dashia!
We went to lunch at Sugarbaker's with Michelle and Mary, the other girl I worked with. It was so much fun and Hayden behaved very well. He also ate an entire sandwich and chips! I had my usual...chicken salad sandwich and a piece of Millionaire pie. Delicious! I love those girls! I didn't get any pictures with them because I was too busy talking.
I was sad all over again when I left. I really do miss that place. I'm so glad I had the chance to visit though!
Hayden and I drove to San Angelo Saturday afternoon because he wasn't feeling well and went to bed as soon as we got home. Then on Sunday, my mom and Connie drove us to Fredericksburg to meet Garrett, Scott and Christi to pick us up and have dinner. We went to Auslander's and had some great food and then to the Hilltop Cafe for Italian creme cake. Hayden ate an entire piece of sausage, green beans, bread and french fries. I think that kid has a hollow leg!
It was a weekend full of fun and great friends!

Not the best picture of me, but I'm over it...at least Hayden looks cute. It's crazy to think he was just a few weeks old last year on Mother's Day.It was a great Mother's Day and my sweet husband got me these leopard print shoes I had picked out, a picture frame and he cleaned the whole house while I was gone! Impressive.
I am blessed to have a mother who helps us with anything we ask for and then some. She loves us endlessly and unconditionally and gives with all of her heart. Thanks Mom for putting up with me and for always being there!

And these two pictures below are proof of what happens when Granna has your house key in San Angelo and Daddy isn't home yet and it is extremely hot outside. You strip down in the front yard and play in the sprinkler! At least that's what the cool kids do. I love that cute little big belly!
Hope you have great week!
