Swimming in the new pool Granna and Papa bought him. And yes, he is naked because he will take the diaper off himself anyway and why not celebrate freedom?!
He wanted to go down the slide over and over. I had to help him so he didn't get water in his ears (because of his tubes)
Sharing his food with Granna. He shares really well right now even with toys, but we'll see how long that lasts.
Eating cheerios with Grandpa (Garrett's dad) only they're not real cheerios, but a healthy alternative. H doesn't know the difference, but Grandpa did!
Eating breakfast with his new bear friend.
Are we home yet? This was yesterday on the way back. He was worn out and slept for more than two hours. His vocabulary is increasing daily. Just in the last few days, he picked up Nana (Granna), Papa, nie-nie (night night), bubbles, chicken (can't really describe how he pronounces it), mah (more) and he will say "ah done" (all done) and do the sign for it.
He has been doing so much better. The weather change from here to San Angelo kind of got to him, but he seems to be handling it a lot better than before. I really do think all of our efforts are paying off. He has not been on an antibiotic since early April and that is definitely something to be happy about when he used to be on one all the time. His ears hadn't drained in several weeks before Saturday and even so it is already starting to get better. I am thankful that we are making headway. I will take whatever we can get. I just want him to be healthy!
I have a busy few weeks ahead. I have my friend Paige's bachelorette party in New Braunfels this weekend. Then I will be in Houston Sunday through Thursday for work only to return on Saturday for my friend Brittany's wedding. I will be home that next week and then I go back to Houston the 27 - 31 for work. Needless to say, I hope I don't have to go back there for a while!
Hope you have a great week!
