How far along? 31 weeks
Total weight gain: enough
Symptoms: Braxton Hicks contractions, leg cramps, restless leg syndrome, shortness of breath, sleepiness
Body changes: My feet and hands are fat/swollen, I'm sore, the veins on my tummy look like a U.S. map
Sleep: the same
Best moment this week: sitting in the dark rocking Hayden while baby boy kicked like crazy...just me and my boys. I'm gonna miss this. I hope they always love me as much as I love them!
Movement: out of control (which is why I'm sore) and LOTS of hiccups
Food cravings: those soft iced sugar cookies, the really fluffy ones. You know what I'm talking about.
What I miss: sleeping on my back
What I am looking forward to: getting the boys' rooms and playroom ready
Weekly Wisdom: The average woman's uterus expands up to five hundred times its normal size during pregnancy. It only takes 6-8 weeks for it to return to its original size. Interesting.
Strange fact: The first known contraceptive was crocodile dung, used by Egyptians in 2000 B.C. Wow, I'm glad we've come so far!
Milestones: at 31 weeks baby weighs more than three pounds and is about 18 inches long. Only six weeks until we're full term!
Confessions of a Working Mom: My Christmas tree is still up. Maybe I'll just leave it up until next year. I kind of like it.
Baby Boy #2 at 31 Weeks Hayden at 30 weeks
These pictures were taken at different angles so it is hard to compare, but I am actually carrying lower this time. My belly is not really any bigger, just different.
