Three Weeks Old

I promise I'm not going to do this every week until he's 18. The newborn stage just goes by so fast and if I could freeze time right now I would.

We went to San Angelo this past weekend and enjoyed lots of family time. I wasn't sure how the car ride was going to go with one breastfeeding baby and one potty training two year old, but it actually went pretty smoothly. We only had to stop once and we didn't suffer any major meltdowns.

Hudson is still just as precious as ever. I do believe he has a temper and he goes from 0 - 60 in about three seconds. That boy has a set of lungs on him and he wants to make sure he is heard!

Our nights are getting better, but his sleepy time is still in the afternoons. He prefers to sleep next to me at night and will sleep much longer nestled right next to me than he will anywhere else. He is my little cuddle bug. This is fine by me, but I don't let him sleep there all night because it makes me nervous. I treasure those sweet moments in the wee hours of the night when the house is quiet and and it is just me and him in our own little world. I remember these moments with Hayden and I hope those memories never fade.

Other tidbits:
- He usually nurses every 2-3 hours with the three hour stretch being in the afternoon.
- He is quickly growing out of newborn clothes because he is too long and has been wearing some 0-3 months.
- Some of his hair is falling out, but he still has quite a bit.
- He finally lost his cord over the weekend and I was able to give him a real bath!
- He does not particularly care for tummy time.
- He is very strong!

Now for some pictures from the last week. I should really post more often because I have entirely too many pictures.

I am truly thankful that my boys are surrounded by so much love. We are blessed and we love you all!
