Same Kind of Different as Me

I just finished this book and would definitely consider it a must-read!

It is a true story about a modern-day slave turned homeless drifter and how the unconditional love of a woman and her husband changed his life. This couple tore down the barriers between wealth and poverty to meet people right where they were. It taught me about selflessness, forgiveness, healing and the limitless power of love. It challenges you to reach out and make a positive difference in the lives of others regardless of the color of their skin or the clothes on their back and all for the sake of goodness, not recognition.

All that really matters in the end is that you loved.
