Well, I have reached 300 posts which doesn't really mean anything other than the fact that I've used this thing far more than I thought I would and I don't plan on shutting up anytime soon!
In honor of this occasion, I want to give away my signed copy of The Pioneer Woman's cookbook. One of the items on my "30 before 30" list is to give away things of value and while monetarily this cookbook only cost me about $30 (yes, you can get it cheaper on Amazon but I had to buy it at a local bookstore for the signing), I did put in a lot of blood, sweat and tears to have it signed. Okay, so maybe there wasn't any blood, but most definitely blisters from waiting in line for several hours at six months pregnant and probably not any sweat because it was December, and I don't recall crying, but whatever. It does have value. If you've ever had these, then you know what I'm talking about.
I would probably give away everything I own if Garrett would let me. They are after all, mostly just things. I love to give gifts even more than I like to receive them! I actually gave Garrett his birthday present tonight because I was so excited and couldn't wait until tomorrow. The gift itself wasn't that exciting, but its the giving part that makes me giddy.
I stood in line with hundreds of other women to meet Ree and her entire family and it was a lot of fun! Just so you know you're getting the real deal, here's the photographic proof. This is a photo from PWs blog and that would be me in all of my fat, pregnant glory on the far right probably about to pee myself because a) I was six months pregnant and didn't want to lose my spot in line to take a bathroom break and b) I was about to meet Pioneer Woman in the flesh.
I'm pretty sure only like two people read this and my mom doesn't count and that is absolutely, totally fine with me because I do it solely so I can remember this time when I am old. But for fun - I have met a lot of great, interesting, creative, fun, talented people in the blog world and if you let me know you were here, I just might like to read about you too!
To enter the giveaway, just leave a comment before noon on Friday. :)

ReplyDeleteUMMM I READ YOUR BLOG EVERY MORNING! And I get disappointed when there isn't an update. And thank you for calling to remind me to enter this giveaway because PJ has been working us like crazy lately... HAHAHAHA!
ReplyDeleteJenn - I know how much you love P-Dub. Didn't want to leave you hangin'. Tell PJ you need a vacation!
ReplyDeletei am so reluctant to "enter" because you are holding that cookbook so dearly to chest in that photo, but what a sweet giveaway--to share for the sake of sharing. i actually wanted to see ree during that book tour but the closest she came to cleveland was pennsylvania and i was too largely pregnant to be crossing state lines. :)
ReplyDeletei was blessed by your recent take on your boy-mom situation--we reaaaaally thought that olly was going to be a girl and after mentally planning for that long, we had a period of adjustment. you perfectly articulated what i needed to hear.
so thanks, and here's to 300 more!
I'm totally going to start reading your blog!!! I have one too I'm not very good at the whole updating thing though and mine isn't all that cool either. But, oh well maybe I should get more into it haha YAY for meeting PW I'm SO jealous haha
ReplyDeleteYou really think only two people read it?! Ridiculous... I stink at keeping up with my friends via phone, so this is how I keep up with your life (usually in the wee hours of the morning when I can't sleep!)! Love you friend! And... I've had this cookbook on my wish list for a long time! 11:59! I just squeaked in my entry!
