Halfway There

Hudson Wade, you are SIX months old today!

Size: 9 and 12 months clothes, size 3 diaper

What are you up to at six months old?

- you are still a GREAT sleeper. You sleep from 8:30 p.m. until 6:30 - 7 a.m. and then go right back to sleep after you nurse until about 8:30 or 9.

- you take two good naps a day. One short one at 10 a.m. and another long one around 1 p.m.

- you have TWO teeth on the bottom - we had some restless nights while these teeth came in, but nothing too terrible.

 (see those pearly whites?)

- you are constantly on the move and officially CRAWLING on all fours! I'm not ready for this.

- sit unsupported

- can go from your tummy to sitting up

- starting to pull up with a little help

 - you are such a happy little man. People ask me all the time, "Is he always this good?" Yes, you are. My little mellow fellow. Having said that, you do pack a punch and do not let me forget when it is time to eat or sleep.

- you tried avocados for the first time on Sunday and actually liked it!

- you are not a huge fan of bottles and still do not take one well. Why would you when you can have the real deal, right?  You just chew on it to get the milk out rather than sucking. Whatever works dude.

 

- you try to eat anything and everything you can get your hands on. Cell phones and remotes are your favorite.

- you have big, beautiful eyes just like your brother

 - and the best of all...you absolutely, positively, without a doubt LOVE your momma and I feel the same way about you.You think your daddy and your brother are pretty special too. :)
