Just thought I would spare you the trouble if you're trying to upload a custom header and it's showing up blurry. After attempting several times last night to do this and sizing and resizing and changing resolution and pixel ratio only for it to keep showing up blurry, I called up my good friend Google and apparently it's a problem on Blogger's end and you don't need to have your eyes checked or throw your computer out the window, not that I wanted to or anything. ;)
You can try to copy the direct link to the image instead of uploading the jpeg and sometimes this works. It did for me, but it shrunk it a little.
I'm not sure if anyone in Bloggerland is trying to remedy the situation because it is a free service after all and you get what you pay for, but maybe this will save you some frustration for the time being.
