Just Things

The big news around here is that Hudson took quite a few steps the other day. I haven't gotten a good video of it yet, but he is getting braver by the day and walking more. It won't be long before he just takes off and never looks back. I can't believe my baby is walking. It really is bittersweet. He is my little lovebug and I want him to love me as much 30 years from now as he does right now.

He is so funny to watch because he is not as loud and rowdy as Hayden was/is, but he still does the silliest things. When he does something he's not supposed to he wrinkles up his nose, which I used to do, and tries to get away as fast as he can. He's a stinker for sure!

I made note of a couple more things to add to the "Stuff Hayden Says" list. Anytime we pass Costco or say anything about Costco, he chimes in with "I wanna go to Cosco" and when you ask why, he says "hot dog!!!". They have $1.50 hot dogs at Costco and we let him have one when we were there late one night and he hasn't forgotten!

When I tell him it's naptime or bedtime, he says "I'm going to watch TV/play for 10 more minutes." He's heard me say this so now he uses it as a ploy to buy more time! Crazy kid.

On the mornings he goes to KDO I have to wake him up sometimes and he flops over and says, "No Mommy, I just wanna sweep (sleep)." Me too dude. Me too.

He says lots of funny things, but those are the ones that come to mind.

I love my boys and no matter how hard the days get, I know I will never get this time back and I just hope they know how much they are loved.
