Pictures from Hudson's birthday party will come soon, but for now I just want to document what he's been up to.
Here's a little walk down memory lane with the many stages and faces of my sweet Hud.
Growth:
- 23 lbs. 10 oz. (50-75%)
- 32 in. (97%)
- Head 48 cm (90%) I don't think he has a big head, but I guess he does. It's because he's so smart. :)
On the menu:
- We are continuing to offer you what we are eating. You are becoming a bit more opinionated about what you like though. You drink about 15 oz. of milk a day with three meals and two snacks.
- You like oatmeal, avocados and Annie's organic mac n' cheese the most I think. You like peas, but aren't too sure about other vegetables. It's hit or miss.
Development:
- You imitate a lot of sounds and try to repeat words.
- You give high-fives.
- You climb on everything.
- You try to do everything your brother does.
- I've been giving you a spoon to practice feeding yourself.
- You will spend hours stacking and unstacking things.
- You shake your head no.
- You hold the phone or the remote up to your ear like you're talking on it.
Favorite things:
- You love any kind of ball. You will carry it around with your forever. You also like to roll the ball back and forth with Hayden and have figured out how to bounce it.
- You love to ride all of the riding toys all over the house and you even enjoy pushing Hayden around.
- You love pushing toy cars especially the ones that make noise.
- You love to dance! It is so funny.
- Being outside and playing in your new sandbox.
- You are a momma's boy and do not want me to get out of your reach. It's okay. You can be a momma's boy as long as you want. I'll beat up anybody that makes fun of you for it. :) It does however hamper my ability to accomplish anything during the day.
- You give me sweet kisses all the time and anytime I ask for them.
- I love when I get you out of your crib in the morning and you wrap one arm all the way around my neck and hook the other one around my arm and lay your head on my shoulder. You snuggle like this for a while and it is the best!
Not so favorite things:
- Teething. You screech and scream and it is painful for all of us.
- You are getting better about the car seat since we turned you around.
Looking forward to many more years of watching you grow!
