Sassy, Scott, Christi, Harper, Taylor and Natalie came over after church and we had lunch and played in the backyard. It was a fun afternoon and poor Hayden fell asleep on the couch before everyone even left and slept for several hours. I hate that he felt bed on Easter and that he still feels bad today, but I think there is light at the end of the tunnel!
Hayden is aware of the meaning of Easter. We've been reading about it, they talked about it at KDO and then there's always the Veggie Tales Easter Carol of course. I knew there had to be some perks to an assortment of annoying singing vegetables. His short version goes something like this "Jesus died on the cross and three days later they moved the rock and he wasn't in there. He was alive!"

Harper had fun with the eggs in the front yard and watching my crazy boys. She is a happy girl!
