Just wanted to make note of what has been going on with H1 and H2.

H1
- He went to his first Vacation Bible School last week and is attending another one this week. He has been having so much fun and is enjoying having something to do other than sitting at home with me. His brother, however, misses him very much and roams the house saying "Buuubbba" over and over.

- He is talking SO much better and I understand 99% of what he says now. He has done really well since his surgery and has been off all medications since April. This is huge!

- He is into the "why" and "how" stage. Our conversations often go like this:
H1: I used to live in your tummy, but I climbed out.
Me: Ummm, something like that.
H1: How long was I in there?
Me: Nine glorious months.
H1: Why?
Me: Because you had to grow so you would be healthy and strong when you were born.
H1: So I could climb out?
Me: Yes, yes that is correct.
H1: How did I get in there?
Me: God put you there. Let's leave it at that for a few more years. :)

- He is really soaking up everything around him and amazes me at the things he says and does.
- He sings Jesus Loves Me, The Muffin Man and Five Little Monkeys all the time. Interesting combination, I know.
 - He now weighs 36 lbs. and wears size 4T and size 9 shoe.

H2 at 17 months
- Oh, this little man cracks me up. Sweet, yet persistent in his ways, he is bubbling with joy.
- He LOVES ketchup and dipping whatever he is eating in it. I like to call him "little dipper".
- He loves to eat fish,
- He wears his superhero cape and runs through the house like a crazy person.
- He flies stuff through the air (airplanes, superman) making zooming sounds and then says "crash".
- He says some animal sounds - "ruf ruf" or pants like a dog, "tak tak" (quack quack), "mooo"
- Signs for milk, all done, more, please, thank you, bug, frog, slide and a few others from his favorite sign language video.
- Shakes his head and says no when he doesn't like what I'm telling him.
- Lady is his best bud. He shares all of his food with her, tries to sit on her, pulls her ears, pats her. He loves that dog and she is such a good sport about it.
- He weighs 28 lbs. and is wearing 24 months - 2T and size 6 shoe.
- I have tried to make note of words he says regularly:

I just love these two. I lay in bed at night and laugh at the silly things they did that day and cry because I know they are growing up so fast. I can't imagine life without them.
