Whew!

I haven't really had time to even catch my breath this last week. I went to Dallas last Saturday for a photography workshop. I wasn't going to go because I didn't want to drive there and back in one day, but I decided that it would be good for my soul to just get in my car, turn the radio up and spend a day by myself. I'm so glad I did! I had a great trip, six peaceful hours in the car, five hours of learning great new photography tricks and I got to see a friend that I met in Oklahoma last January at another photography training.

Then I got up Sunday morning and drove to San Angelo. This time, however, was not quite as peaceful as I was accompanied by two precious monsters boys who don't exactly enjoy being in the car for that long. I had a session Sunday evening, my nephew's birthday party on Monday, a session with my brother and Kim on Tuesday and we came back on Thursday for a session yesterday and another today. It is good to be busy though so I'm definitely not complaining!

Hayden went to VBS the last two weeks and had a great time! He loved the high school kids and everyday when I would pick him up he would be giving all the guys high fives and "knuckles". It's hard to think that he will be that big someday! He had a program Friday night and once again did not sing a single word to any of the songs. I do not think he is destined to be a performer, but that's okay! He is learning so much and we have the funniest conversations now.

I took some pictures at Race's birthday party that I will share on here at some point hopefully, but for now the blog love will be going to my photography blog because I have a lot of catching up to do!
