Sweet Harley girl, sometimes it seems as though you just got here and four months has passed entirely too quickly, while other times I feel as though you've always been here. You are one very loved little girl and you are truly one of the happiest babies I have ever been around. And I'm not just saying that because you are mine. I think other people would vouch for that.
Stats:
14 lbs. 10oz
26 inches
Size:
6 or 6-9 months
Size 2 diaper
Eating:
Every 3-4 hours
Sleeping:
There is no doubting that you LOVE to sleep. You are like a bear. I think you might hibernate for the winter.
- You sleep 11-12 hours at night, approximately 8-7ish.
- You would go right back to sleep after I fed you in the mornings, but we have to take your brother(s) to school so you take a nap when we get home about 9:30 and sleep until about 12:30 when it is time to go pick them up.
- You also take another 2-4 hour nap in the afternoon. It just depends on the day.
- Now that you can roll over, you prefer to sleep on your tummy.
- You started taking naps in your crib a few weeks ago and actually slept in your crib last night for the first time.
Milestones:
- You roll both ways.
- Reach for and grab things which then go straight for your mouth.
- You are sitting assisted, but still pretty wobbly.
- Dr. P said to let you start trying a sippy cup so you had your first one yesterday.
Things you Love:
- You suck your left thumb and play with your hair with the right hand. Or if I'm holding you, you play with my hair. I don't want you to suck your thumb forever, but Dr. P said not to worry about it right now.
- You are fascinated with your hands and your toes.
- You always have your tongue sticking out like a giraffe.
- You smile and coo at people in the store, at church, at the boys' school...wherever you are. You have the biggest smile and it is contagious. People can't help but be happy around you.
