Diary of a Three Year Old

An interview with the birthday boy. This video cracks me up. He always tells people he's five. He knows that he is turning three, but he wants to be five because he wants to go to kindergarten with Hayden.

He was not in a very good mood and clearly sitting still for five minutes was more than he could handle, but I was able to squeeze some answers out of him. It was getting kind of long so I had to cut some parts including where he says "ugh, I told you five times" or "sometimes you spank my hiney". Ha! He also always says "well, actually" but he didn't this time.

Did you know your birthday is tomorrow? Are we going there? 

Where's your party? The zoo.

What's at the zoo? Animals.

How old are you? Um. Five. 

What's your favorite color? Black (he later said green)

Who's your family? Sister.

Who else? And sister Harley Paige. She bites.
She bites? Yeah, she bites you.

Do you know how old you're going to be? Three.

What's your favorite thing to do at school? Play toys at my school.
What else? Tractors.
What about playdoh? Yes! I mix the colors at my school. Are you supposed to mix the colors? Um no. Why do you mix the colors then? Ms. Viviana tells me not to mix the colors.

What's your favorite food? Fish. Fish? Not chicken? No. Just fish. I thought your liked chicken. No.
(He eats chicken almost every day.)

What is your favorite toy? Hmm....

What is your favorite movie? Bugs Life. What else? Incredibles. Incredibles is scratched.
Did you scratch it? No, Hayden did.

What's your favorite book? Chicka Chicka Boom Boom

Tell me about your family. Cody is my family. Who else? Cody. That's it?  Pawpaw. Granna and Jody...Pawpaw and Granna. That it's. (I love how he says that it's instead of that's it.)
What about sister? She is. What's her name? Harley Paige.

What do you like to learn about at school. Play playdoh and mix the colors and...mix the colors.

Who's your best friend? Holly at my school.

Where do you like to go? To Cabela's to feed the fish. Who do you go with? with my tickets (he's talking about the buddy bucks at HEB)
Who takes you? Daddy.

What do you like to do with Hayden and Harley? Read books to them.

What do you like to do outside? Look for bugs. What do you find out there? Bugs and worms.

What does Daddy do at work? Make some money to go to the post office.

What do you want for your birthday? Candles and put fire on it and sing happy birthday.

What's your favorite store? H-E-B (This comes as no surprise since his favorite thing to do is eat.)

What's your favorite thing for breakfast? Ice cream and pancakes. (I do not in fact give him ice cream for breakfast)

What do you like to do with mommy? Go in your room and sleep with you.
