Harley - Ten Months

Size: 
- You weigh about 17 lbs.
- You can still wear a lot of your 6 month clothes, but can also wear some 9 and 12 months now.

On the Menu:
- I don't think you have turned away anything we've given you. You like yogurt, green beans, broccoli, peas, blueberries, oatmeal, sweet potatoes...there's really too many things to list.
- You self-weaned recently. I fought the good fight and did everything I could, but it just wasn't working out for us anymore. We would both end up in tears and you would just refuse. I am a strong proponent of breastfeeding and I am NOT a quitter, but there are some things that you just have to let go. Feeding is so much more enjoyable for both of us now and I don't think it has affected our bonding since you cling on to me like a koala. I do hate formula and the things that are in most of them, but I did my research and found one that I can live with for the short time that you will be on it. Only one store in town carries it and it is expensive so you might have to get a job.

Sleeping:
- Your naps have gotten a little shorter, but that's the only thing that has changed.

What's Happenin'
- You are definitely working on some new teeth.
- You are a chatter box. I've always heard that girls talk more and that has been the case with you. You say mama, dada, bubba, pawpaw, ball, baby, bye bye, booh (book), doh (dog) and you've said nana (granna) a few times.
- You smack your lips when you want to give kisses. Cutest thing ever.
- You always sit in a squatting position or with one leg tucked underneath you. 
- You stand on your own and walk behind a push toy. You will also put one foot in front of the other when standing. I wouldn't call it walking yet, but you are thinking about it.
- You shake your head no all the time which is hilarious right now, maybe not later.
- You have really loved playing outside with the boys. I'm sure you can't wait to run around with them.

Favorite Things:
- You think your brothers are the funniest people you've ever seen. They can really make you laugh.
- You have started to play with some of your babies and it is so sweet. You pat them and kiss them and maybe drag them around but it's all out of love. :)
- You like to sit in the playroom and dig everything out. You also do this to every purse or bag that you see.
- You still really like the play kitchen. 

Not so Favorite Things:
I forgot to mention that you HATE loud noises. The vacuum, blow dryer, a door slamming, someone laughing really loud, etc. It totally freaks you out. You have always been this way, but I don't know if I've ever mentioned it.
