I must start this by saying that Easter is one of my favorite holidays. Easter services at church always make me weepy and I'm reminded that I should
always feel the brokenness and thankfulness that I do on that day. He paid my debt and proved that he is who he says he was. It is finished.
The boys kicked off the celebration at preschool on Thursday and then we went to San Angelo for the weekend. I had several sessions on Saturday, but we dyed eggs with all the cousins in between. Only a handful of eggs actually survived the process, but they had fun! We went to church on Sunday with Cody, Kim, Jill and Lane and while I missed our amazing Easter service at the Erwin Center with my church, it was a great service at the church we visited. We spent the rest of the day with family starting at my grandparents and ending at Garrett's dad's.
I'm going to try very hard to narrow down the photos. Here we go.
Hayden's class had to hunt for the eggs with their name on them. I really liked this because it avoided the mad dash to get the most eggs and also helped them with recognizing their name. It was very calm and they were all helping each other. Such a great idea.
My handsome boys.
