Christmas...finally

Finally, my overdue Christmas post. We don't have wireless internet and everything is on my laptop or my memory card because I don't have the cord for my camera anymore so I have been having withdrawals! Hayden had a fabulous first Christmas. He got a red wagon, portable DVD player for the car (which is really for me and Garrett too!), Texas Tech rocking chair, toys, clothes and more toys :). Garrett and I just bought him a few things knowing that he would get plenty from the grandparents.

We had a busy few days. We went to my brother's house Christmas morning to watch my niece and nephew open their presents, then we had Christmas at my parents' and then we went to Garrett's dad's house to have Christmas with his family. Then we had Christmas at my grandparents' house on Saturday. We enjoyed getting to spend so much time with family even if it was crazy.

Garrett and I got a video camera from my parents. I had been using my regular camera to take videos so we are glad to have this one now especially since he is at a fun age and we can capture all the funny things he does. I haven't, however, had the time to figure out how to get them from the camera to this blog...so the videos from Christmas will have to come later.

Riding in his new wagon! (in the house because it was cold)
In other news, Hayden got a new big boy car seat on Thursday because he has reached the 22 lb weight limit for the other one.
I am happy to report that he is completely over the RSV and is doing very well. RSV is a very scary illness. Watching your baby not be able to breathe well is not fun and a very helpless feeling. We are blessed that we caught it early and he didn't have to be hospitalized. I am keeping my fingers crossed that he will not get sick for a while.
He hasn't been to daycare in three weeks, but starts back on Monday. They are probably going to move him to the first toddler class when he is 10 or so months old. "Toddler"...my sweet baby is going to be a toddler before I know it.
I don't have any pics of his two teeth yet, but hopefully soon!
Sorry for the long post. I promise the next one will be short...maybe. :)
