Then I saw him. A man confined to a wheelchair, bound by an obvious disability, yet he had his arms raised high and was praising the Lord who made him perfect in His eyes, unaware of what others around him thought. Why can't we all praise our Lord with such fearless abandonment?
As we sang the chorus to "Everlasting" I couldn't help but listen to this man and think about how God deserves so, so much more from me. He truly was praising from the inside out despite what this cruel world has dealt him.
The things of this world will never fully satisfy the needs that God has already met and I only hope that I can seek Him with fearless abandonment like this man.
Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame
And the cry of my heart is to bring You praise
From the inside out, O my soul cries out

Amen!! That's TRUE worship!! =)
